CAI GUO QIANG BANQUET TABLE

Conference table for artist Cai Guo-Qiang’s NYC studio. The top is made from a single slab of distressed Douglas Fir from an old growth tree in Oregon that came down in a storm. This project was part of a unique adaptive reuse renovation of an old schoolhouse in Manhattan.

Collaboration with OMA/Rem Koolhaas and Get Bent Metalworks.

Table dimensions: 16′ long x 5′ wide x 3.5″ thick,
